Simplified Living was started in 2005 by Suzanne Chilson, but Suzanne’s organizational career began before she even started grade school. Her grandmother recalls that they could not leave a grocery or drug store “until Suzanne straightened all of the candy and gum in the checkout lines.”

Suzanne’s organizational skills carried on into her adult life. She graduated with a BFA from the University of Arizona in 1995. From there she went into advertising and worked for both corporations and creative agencies. She was responsible for scheduling and trafficking in these busy and sometimes chaotic environments, which helped to hone her organizational skills.

Suzanne has lent her organizational and event planning skills to Relay for Life in Phoenix and the Arizona Humane Society for fundraising events.
